Hemorrhoids / Piles Treatment

Hemorrhoids, commonly known as piles, are swollen and enlarged veins in the anus and lower rectum. They are similar to varicose veins. When they form inside the rectum, they are called internal hemorrhoids. When they develop under the skin around the anus, they are referred to as external hemorrhoids.

Too much pressure on the veins in your anus or rectum, as well as irregular bowel movements, cause hemorrhoids. This pressure and irritation lead to swelling and inflammation of your veins.

Laser Treatment for Hemorrhoids / Piles

We provide laser treatment for Hemorrhoids / Piles using German Lasers.

Laser Hemorrhoidoplasty is an advanced, minimally invasive treatment for Grade II–IV hemorrhoids. Unlike conventional hemorrhoid surgery, it is a non-excisional procedure, meaning no cutting or stitches are involved. A precise laser fiber is inserted into the hemorrhoidal tissue, where controlled laser energy coagulates the blood vessels supplying the hemorrhoid. This reduces blood flow, causing the swollen tissue to shrink gradually while preserving the surrounding healthy tissue.

Know More About Hemorrhoids / Piles

Types of hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids can develop either inside the rectum or around the outside of the anus, depending on where the swollen vein forms. The main types include:

Internal hemorrhoids: These occur inside the rectum. They may cause bleeding but are usually not painful.

External hemorrhoids: These develop under the skin surrounding the anus. They can be itchy, painful, and sometimes bleed. They are often visible or can be felt as lumps around the anal area.

Prolapsed hemorrhoids: These are internal hemorrhoids that bulge or protrude outside the anus. They may cause discomfort, pain, or bleeding.

Thrombosed hemorrhoids: These occur when a blood clot forms within an external hemorrhoid. They are typically very painful and may appear as a swollen purple or bluish lump near the anus. The clot remains localized and does not travel to other parts of the body.
